National Fallen Firefighters Foundation- OUR MISSION IS TO HONOR AND REMEMBER AMERICA'S FALLEN FIRE HEROES, TO PROVIDE RESOURCES TO ASSIST THEIR SURVIVORS IN REBUILDING THEIR LIVES, AND WORK WITHIN THE FIRE SERVICE COMMUNITY TO REDUCE FIREFIGHTER DEATHS AND INJURIES.
National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund- Founded in 1984, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund is dedicated to honoring and remembering the service and sacrifice of law enforcement officers in the United States. A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization headquartered in Washington, DC, the Memorial Fund built and continues to maintain the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial - the nation’s monument to law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. The Memorial Fund is a principal organizer of the National Police Week observance each May and hosts a Candlelight Vigil at the Memorial each May 13th to honor all fallen officers. In addition, the Fund maintains the largest, most comprehensive database of line-of-duty officer deaths, conducts research into officer fatality trends and issues, and serves as an information clearinghouse. More recently, the Memorial Fund has launched a campaign to build the first-ever National Law Enforcement Museum, adjacent to the Memorial in Washington, DC. The Museum will tell the story of American law enforcement through exhibits, collections, research and education.
September 11th Families Assoc.- The September 11th Families’ Association supports victims of terrorism through communication, representation and peer support. Our mission is to unite the September 11th community, present evolving issues, and share resources for long-term recovery.
The Leary Firefighters Foundation- The Leary Firefighters Foundation’s mission is to provide funding and resources for Fire Departments to obtain the best available equipment, technology and training. We are dedicated to helping maintain the highest level of public safety in our communities.
First Responder Institute- The First Responder Institute (FRI) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity organization founded in 1997. The scholar-practitioners at FRI are dedicated to building and sustaining first responder mission critical capabilities. FRI research, training, and education programs support the Homeland Security mission (2014) of Strengthening National Preparedness and Resilience.
Responder Rescue- Our mission is to provide assistance; emotional, tangible or monetary, to any area first responders, who have been injured, become ill or suffered a traumatic situation after all other resources have been exhausted.
C.O.P.S. Concerns of Police Survivors- C.O.P.S. programs for survivors include the National Police Survivors' Conference held each May during National Police Week, scholarships, peer-support at the national, state, and local levels, "C.O.P.S. Kids" counseling reimbursement program, the "C.O.P.S. Kids" Summer Camp, "C.O.P.S. Teens" Outward Bound experience for young adults, special retreats for spouses, parents, siblings, adult children, extended family, and co-workers, trial and parole support, and other assistance programs.
Police Foundation- The purpose of the Police Foundation is to help the police be more effective in doing their job, whether it be deterring robberies, intervening in potentially injurious family disputes, or working to improve relationships between the police and the communities they serve. To accomplish our mission, we work closely with police officers and police agencies across the country, and it is in their hard work and contributions that our accomplishments are rooted.
Wildland Firefighters Foundation- The Wildland Firefighter Foundation honors those who have been killed and injured in the course of protecting our lands, our homes, and our property.The Foundation’s purpose and mission is intimately linked to this concept.
IAFF Foundation- supports and administers several charitable foundations that have been established for the purpose of providing charitable support fire fighters and their families in the United States and Canada in need of assistance following fires and other disasters, or line-of-duty death. The IAFF Foundation also promotes fire and burn prevention and aims to educate fire fighters, the public and other interested groups or individuals about how to prevent or cope with these events.
